Keeping a home inventory accurate has always meant counting things by hand. Photo count, new in QuantumShelf 2.4 for iPhone and version 5 for Android, replaces most of that with one picture.

Stock a shelf

Back from the store, or setting up a new pantry? Photograph the shelf. QuantumShelf counts what it sees, matches each product to what's already in your inventory, and adds the new stock.

Items that track expiration dates get their batches updated too, so what's expiring stays right.

Take used items off after cooking

The same works in reverse. After cooking, photograph the counter with everything you used. QuantumShelf takes those items off your inventory, and your low-stock list and shopping list stay accurate without you entering anything.

You review every count

Nothing saves until you've seen it. Each match and quantity is shown first, and you can correct a count, change a match, or drop an item before you confirm.

Pair it with labels

Print a QR label for each bin, and the shelf you just counted is one scan away next time.
