QuantumShelf is your intelligent assistant for keeping track of everything you own. Snap a picture of any product package and Google Gemini fills in the details automatically — product name, brand, barcode, expiration date, nutrition facts, allergens, and more. Printed labels and handwritten dates both work. No typing required.
Photo count updates a whole shelf from one picture. Stocking up? Snap the shelf and QuantumShelf matches what it sees to your inventory, with a category, expiration date, and quantity for each item — and you can split one product across different dates. Just cooked? Snap the counter and everything you used comes off, soonest-expiring batches first. If something already lives in another location, it asks whether to add it there or keep a separate item. You review every count before anything is saved.
Got a grocery receipt with a full trip on it? Take one photo and every item is added with names, quantities, and prices. You can also scan a recipe — from a photo or a pasted link — or a handwritten shopping list.
Organize items into nested locations — from broad (House → Basement → Storage Room) to specific (Shelf 3 → Red Box). Print a QR label for any shelf, bin, or item, or write a rewritable NFC tag and tap your phone to it to see what's inside — the tag opens QuantumShelf even when the app is closed.
Print QR labels on Avery sheets with any printer, or on a Bluetooth label printer: Niimbot (B1, B21, B21S, B203, B3S, D11, D110, D101), Phomemo M and D series, Zebra Link-OS printers with Bluetooth LE, and TSPL printers from Munbyn, iDPRT, Xprinter and others. Pick which fields print — name, location, expiration, lot, price, warranty, and more — and the order they print in; fields that won't fit the label size are disabled for you. Queue labels to fill a sheet over time and skip the spots you've already used. Niimbot round and cable-flag labels work too. Same printers on Android and Apple devices.
Color-coded status tells you what's fresh at a glance: green is good, yellow is expiring soon, orange is today, red is expired. Set the alert window anywhere from 1 to 30 days, and track multiple expiration dates per item with batch and lot numbers.
Set a minimum quantity for the items that matter. When stock drops below it, QuantumShelf flags it on the dashboard and adds it to your shopping list automatically, grouped by store so each stop is one list.
Type what you want to do — "5-day dinner plan using only what I have" or "change the oil on my 2019 Infiniti QX60" — and Plan with AI turns it into projects built from your inventory: the recipe for a meal, the parts and tools a repair needs (with part numbers when it's confident, never made up), and step-by-step tasks. It sticks to planning; it won't wander off into being a general chatbot.
The same box answers questions about your inventory. Ask "where's the WD-40?" and it tells you the shelf, or "what display cables do I have?" and it lists your HDMI and DisplayPort leads even though you never typed the word "display." It matches by what things are and do, not keywords, shows why each item matched and where it lives, and flags the ones it isn't sure about. Every result links straight to the item.
Projects collect everything a job needs. Track parts and tools against what you own and send the shortfalls to your shopping list, work through nested checklists with a progress bar, and fix any detail in place. Finished? Complete the project to deduct what you used, Reset it to run a repeatable job like an oil change again, or Reopen to put the items back. Every recipe lives in a browser you can edit, so a scan's mistakes are a tap away from fixed. Same toolkit on Android and Apple devices.
See a recipe in Safari or Chrome, a dinner idea on Instagram or TikTok, or a repair video on YouTube? Share it to QuantumShelf. Recipe sites import instantly, with no AI needed; posts and videos are read with AI into a recipe, or a project with the parts, tools, and steps. Pick recipe or project, rename it, and save — the original link is kept with it. On Android, iPhone and iPad.
Widgets put the shopping list (check items off right there), what's expiring, and what's running low on your Home Screen — one tap adds every low-stock item to the list. A Quick Actions widget jumps straight to Scan, NFC, Add Item, or Plan with AI. On iPhone, there's also a Lock Screen widget and Control Center buttons. On Android, iPhone and iPad.
Turn on reminders and QuantumShelf sends a daily digest of what's about to expire, a low-stock summary, and project due-date reminders at the time of day you pick. They're generated on your device, so they work offline. On Android and Apple devices.

Your data is stored in Google's Firebase infrastructure with encrypted transmission and household data isolation. Only the people you invite can see your inventory. AI requests go through our secured server on both platforms, so no AI key ships inside either app and the weekly allowance is enforced on the server.
